Things to Know When Hiring with Us

The Details

Once you get in touch with the date of your event we will check availability and come back to you to confirm.

HIRE PERIOD
Our hire period is based on a 4 day event hire.

If your event is on a weekend your hire period will have a slightly longer buffer - it will be from Thursday pre-event until 5pm at the latest on the Monday afterwards).

COLLECTION/DROP OFF
We base our prices off a 'collection and drop off' policy, but we are also able to offer delivery on request with an extra fee calculated based on location.

If you have made the booking but personally aren't collecting from us, please let us know the nominated person who will collect and drop off for you.

OUR LOCATION
Our location will be sent to you after booking and more information regarding our simple collection process will be sent to you.

We are based in the central Auckland area.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING
Once availability is confirmed we will send you a booking form and invoice for the hire package.

If you choose to go ahead you can sign the booking form and return to us.

We do our best to pencil dates once requested but only a returned booking form plus deposit can fully secure your date.
BOOKING DEPOSIT
Upon booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. The remaining 50% is due a month before your hire period.

Please see our booking form re: cancellation charges as these vary depending on how close to the event the cancellation is made.
BOND
We charge a $100 bond which is fully refundable on return of the items in good condition within the hire period.

Items must be collected and returned within the hire period to our address provided.

IMPORTANT POINTS BEFORE BOOKING:

1. SURFACE
Our games MUST be played on a soft surface, e.g. grass or an alternative soft surface – the games may be damaged if they fall onto deck/concrete or are played indoors. You will be charged for the repair costs in this instance. We can provide foam mats to play the games on if this is required at no extra cost. These are not routinely provided so please specifically request these.

2. RAIN
Games must not be left outside in the rain - this causes damage and charges will apply.
